Welcome to Freediving For All
Safe Training. Community Accountability. Education for Everyone.
Welcome to a platform dedicated to promoting excellence, safety, and integrity in freediving instruction and community organizations. Whether you're new to freediving or a seasoned member of our community, this site exists to ensure everyone has access to quality education and professional standards.
OUR MISSION
Freediving For All was created to address a critical need in our community: transparency and accountability in freediving instruction and organizational governance. We believe that everyone who loves the ocean deserves access to safe, professional training in supportive environments.
Our mission is built on four core pillars:
📚 Education First
We provide comprehensive freediving education and training resources—from breathing techniques and safety protocols to equalization methods and dive physiology. We also help divers understand what quality instruction should look like, recognize professional standards, and make informed decisions about their training journey.
🛡️ Community Safety
Safety isn't negotiable. We advocate for rigorous safety protocols, proper instructor qualifications, and training environments that prioritize student welfare above all else.
🔍 Transparency & Accountability
We believe the freediving community deserves honest information about training quality, instructor conduct, and organizational practices. Sunlight is the best disinfectant for poor standards.
🤝 Inclusive Community
Freediving should welcome people of all backgrounds, experience levels, and circumstances. Discrimination, harassment, and unprofessional conduct have no place in our sport.
WHY THIS SITE EXISTS
The freediving community has incredible potential to be transformative, educational, and deeply rewarding. Unfortunately, gaps in training standards, lack of accountability mechanisms, and concerning practices by some instructors and organizations have created serious issues around safety, professional conduct, and community welfare.
Through personal experience and observation within the community, several critical areas need attention:
Training Quality Concerns
- Incomplete course delivery despite full payment
- Instructors teaching disciplines they're not qualified for
- Missing essential safety components
- Poor skill development and coaching methods
Professional Conduct Issues
- Harassment and discrimination in learning environments
- Exploitation of vulnerable students
- Inappropriate use of personal information shared in confidence
- Hostile responses to legitimate safety concerns
Organizational Accountability Gaps
- Conflicts of interest between commercial and community interests
- Inadequate complaint processes that protect accused parties over complainants
- Lack of transparency in decision-making
- Poor oversight of affiliated instructors and programs
Systemic Problems
- Industry-wide reluctance to address quality and conduct issues
- Limited consumer protection for training services
- Insufficient consequences for substandard practices
- Barriers preventing people from speaking up about problems

OUR APPROACH
Evidence-Based Advocacy
Our content and recommendations are based on documented experiences, established safety protocols, industry standards, and verifiable facts rather than speculation or personal attacks.
Personal Experience Foundation
This platform begins with detailed personal experiences within the freediving community, including both positive examples and concerning practices that highlight the need for better standards.
Educational Resources
We develop comprehensive freediving training materials, technique guides, and safety resources for divers at all levels. We also provide practical tools and checklists to help divers evaluate training options, understand their rights as consumers, and recognize quality instruction.
Constructive Change
While we address serious concerns about substandard practices, our ultimate goal is positive change that elevates standards across the entire freediving community.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
This platform was created by a passionate freediver who has been actively involved in the community since 2018. The founder has:
- Completed multiple freediving courses and trained extensively within the community
- Served in leadership positions within major freediving organizations
- Competed in AIDA pool competitions
- Contributed technical skills to support community infrastructure and systems
- Experienced both exceptional instruction and deeply concerning practices
- Witnessed firsthand the need for greater transparency and accountability in our sport
The decision to create this platform came after extensive unsuccessful attempts to address concerns through numerous personal chats, emails and phone conversations and proper channels, including formal complaints with relevant authorities. When systemic issues require community-wide awareness and action, transparent public discussion becomes essential.
We maintain anonymity to protect against retaliation and to keep focus on the validity of concerns rather than personal dynamics.
LEGAL AND ETHICAL FRAMEWORK
This site operates within a framework of consumer advocacy, public interest reporting, and community education. Content is based on documented experiences and established professional standards rather than unsubstantiated claims.
Current Formal Proceedings
The experiences that initially motivated this platform are currently subject to formal complaints with relevant consumer protection and human rights authorities. This site serves an educational purpose in helping others understand their rights and options.
Future Community Guidelines
As this platform grows, we will maintain high standards for content accuracy, respectful dialogue, and constructive focus on systemic improvements.

MOVING FORWARD TOGETHER
The freediving community has the potential to be a model of excellence, safety, and inclusion. By establishing and maintaining high standards, we can ensure that freediving remains accessible, safe, and transformative for everyone who feels called to explore the underwater world.
